Emily Janes.jpg

Emily Janes

Lakeshore Section

Since August 2021, Emily’s been living in Oshawa with her amazing, smart, handsome and insanely funny husband Kent (he definitely wasn’t looking over my shoulder as I wrote this…) but grew up in Kitchener her whole life. She graduated from Master’s College & Seminary in 2020 with her Bachelor of Theology majoring in Children’s Ministry. Shortly after, she began serving at The Embassy Church in May of 2021 as the Kids & Parent Networking Pastor.

Emily is an avid believer in decorating way TOO early for Christmas, drinking slushies even when its -0 outside and dancing/singing way too loud to her music while she cleans. As the youngest of 4, she definitely knows how to hold her own and fight for what she cares and believes in. She is most passionate about creating spaces for both kids and parents to grow their love and faith in Jesus in tangible ways. Emily LOVES connecting with like-minded leaders who want to see the next generation make a lasting impact in our community and world.
